Prepare boards for housekeepers. Start stripping all checked out rooms. Remember to start first load of laundry as soon as you have stripped enough to make a load. Continue stripping. Check all empty cleans. Go to front desk to see if any more rooms have checked out. Remember to completely strip 2 rooms daily and mark on paper in laundry room. Assign public areas to housekeepers daily. Any leftover duties not assigned to housekeepers are the responsibility of housekeeping supervisor. Finish checking empty cleans if necessary. Check any completed rooms the housekeepers have done. Clean windows, guest laundry, vending machines, ice machine, guest bathrooms. Strip remaining rooms and verify with front desk by 12:30. Any rooms due to check out and still have their belongings in the room must be reported to front desk immediately. Continue checking completed rooms and highlight front desk copy of housekeeping report. Finish cleaning public areas. Damaged linen needs to be logged on calendar daily. When stripping rooms it is your responsibility to count linen and terry and report any missing or damaged items to front desk. Report to work at 9 am on Mondays to do linen & amp; supply inventory. You must count all linen and report to the general manager. Remember to include cleaning chemicals in your inventory.

End of day:

Make sure all rooms have been checked and all doors closed. Check all storage doors to make sure they are locked. Report all maintenance problems. Give final updated list of vacant clean rooms to front desk.

REMEMBER LIGHTS ARE TO BE OFF IN ROOMS AFTER YOU STRIP. REMEMBER TO KEEP ALL AC UNITS ON LOW COOL IF OUTSIDE TEMPERATURE IS 80 DEGREES OR HIGHER AND LOW HEAT IF OUTSIDE TEMPURATE IS 40 DEGREES OR LOWER.
