Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to lead and oversee the cleanliness and maintenance operations within our hospitality environment. In this pivotal role, you will manage a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring that all guest areas, public spaces, and back-of-house facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and hospitality. Your leadership will drive efficiency, uphold quality standards, and foster a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your management skills while maintaining a focus on exceptional service delivery. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities across all hotel areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, laundry, and back-of-house facilities. Develop and implement cleaning schedules, protocols, and quality control measures to ensure consistent standards of cleanliness. Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to promote a high-performance team dedicated to excellence in service. Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; place orders as needed to maintain operational efficiency. Conduct regular inspections to monitor cleanliness standards, safety compliance, and guest satisfaction. Address guest requests or concerns promptly with professionalism and a positive attitude. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Experience Proven supervising experience in housekeeping or custodial management within a hotel or hospitality setting. Strong background in cleaning techniques, commercial cleaning practices, laundry operations, and janitorial services. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively. Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of management principles related to housekeeping operations and guest service standards. Familiarity with safety protocols related to custodial work and chemical handling is advantageous. $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
