Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Inspector to join our dedicated Housekeeping team. In this vital role, you will ensure that all areas under your supervision meet the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety. Your leadership will help maintain a pristine environment that enhances guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to verify cleanliness, sanitation, and safety compliance. Supervise housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to standard. Monitor cleaning procedures. Manage laundry operations to guarantee timely and proper handling of linens. Enforce safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals, equipment use, and workplace safety to prevent accidents. Provide training and coaching for team members on cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and customer service excellence. Document inspection results, report deficiencies, and coordinate corrective actions promptly to uphold quality standards. Skills Proven experience in cleaning services with a focus on sanitation management. Strong supervisory skills with previous experience managing teams in commercial or industrial cleaning environments. Excellent communication skills for effective managerial oversight and customer service interactions. Knowledge of safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and workplace safety procedures. Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster a collaborative team environment. Familiarity with laundry operations and housekeeper management practices. Ability to perform detailed inspections while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation across multiple areas.
