A caregiver in this position works Monday - Friday, 3pm - 11:30pm, Every Other Weekend on call, Every third holiday on call A caregiver who excels in this role will: Supervise the functions, daily operations and caregivers in the Environmental Services department. Provide effective utilization of personnel, policies and procedures to ensure a clean, safe and attractive environment. Continuously inspect assigned areas to ensure high quality cleaning and maintenance is being performed. Maintain staffing levels and approve and schedule paid time off and leave requests. Ensure cross coverage. Coordinate and provide orientation, education and training. Improve procedures and processes. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: High Sc hool D iploma or GED One year of experience as a Work Leader, Team Lead, Project Manager of Supervisor A B achelor's D egree may substitute the experience requirement

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment\ Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information Ability to travel throughout the hospital system Requires full body motion, including ability to perform work while lifting, pulling, pushing, bending, stooping, crouching, squatting and reaching. Requires regular handling and use of disinfectants and other cleaning agents and chemicals. Light Work - Exerting 11 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects.

Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Pay Range Minimum hourly:

$18.88 Maximum hourly: $28.80 The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set and education.
