TheDirector of Housekeepingwillmanage, direct, and coordinate all functions of theHousekeeping and Laundrydepartments andmaintainimpeccable levels of cleanliness and upkeepof the Resort,while ensuringcostcontrols are in place.
QUALIFICATIONS
(Education, Knowledge, Training, & Work Experience) Inspect all VIP rooms daily. Monitor guest's complaints accordingly and take corrective action when necessary. Maintain and administer quarterly linen inventories, responsible for action plans to address shrinkage. Assistwith budget process as required by the Hotel Manager. Develop master cleaning schedules and administer accordingly. Monitor all Housekeeping inventories to ensure adequate supplies are always available, complete analysis of amenity consumption. Maintainaccuratepayroll information for thehousekeeping and laundrydepartment and control ofsamein accordance withplan. To ensure that all Systems and Controls, Loss Prevention, and Energy Conservation guidelines areonline.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provides courteous, personalized, attentive, sincere, consistent Guest Service by responding promptly and efficiently to inquiries, request & Complaints using Guest Service Skills.
Exhibitshospitality while striving to exceed Guest expectations. Resolves difficult or unusual problems arising with Guests, whilemaintaininggood Guest relationships, demonstrating outstanding hospitality through the corrective action taken. Maintains open and clear communication with all departments and guests to ensure consistent service. Identifymeansof improving the efficiency and effectiveness of our service to guests by activelyparticipatingin the Omni Service Tradition program. Participates in energy conservation efforts. Respects Hotel property and work areas by keeping them clean, wellmaintained, stocked, and properly stored.
Eliminateswaste of supplies. MaintainsOmni standards of cleanliness anda consistentguest experience. Maintainsahighly motivated and trained staff that continually strives for excellence, in service and cleanliness. Maintains close coordination, communication, and interaction with the Front Office and other departments.
To ensurea smooth, efficient, and economic operation in theHousekeeping and Laundrydepartments.
To specify and purchasesupplies, andrecord all datapertaining totheHousekeeping and Laundrydepartments. Effectivelymonitorsthe preventative Maintenance and Cleanliness (CARE) program throughout the hotel. Constantlymonitorsandcontrolall laborcostforHousekeeping and Laundrydepartments, achieving targeted payroll. MaintainsHousekeeping turnover to an acceptable level, while developing Associates for futurepositions. Maintainsclosecoordination, communication, and interaction with front office, to ensure rooms are available for sale, and with Engineering to ensure guestroomand all public areas are at peak operative levels. Directly controlsthe issuance and retrieval of associate uniforms. Directly controlsthe key control program for allHousekeepingassociates. Monitorsall guest requests to ensure they are met within the prescribed time limits Maintainsandadministermonthly linen inventories, responsible for action plans to address shrinkage. Assistswith budget process as required by the Director of Rooms/Operations. Developsmaster cleaning schedules and administer accordingly. Monitorsall Housekeeping inventories to ensure adequate supplies are always available, complete analysis of amenity consumption. Maintainsaccuratepayroll information for theHousekeeping and Laundrydepartment and control ofsamein accordance withplan. Ensuresthat all Systems and Controls, Loss Prevention, and Energy Conservation guidelines areon line.
HOTEL SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS
CompletesCorporate mandated consumption(s) sheets. Daily Medalliaboardof RoomcleanlinessScores. Ensuresall Purchase Orders are processed through the proper PO System-.Birchstreet. Completesweekly Spa Walk Troughs with the Spa Director. MaintainsCleanliness levels of Spa and Fitness center. EnsuresMonthly OST Departmental Meetings are held and minutessubmittedto ASC and DOR/DOO. Ensuresall laundry equipmentis inalways in working order andmaintainedto ensure efficiencies. Submit monthly inventoriesto besubmittedno later than 10th of month to Omni's Corporate office. Ensuresthat MOS Audits are Administered andsubmittedto Omni's Corporate office no later than the 15th of the month. CompletesweeklyResortWalk Troughs with the Directorof Engineering. Inspect all VIP rooms daily. Inspect and tour all public areas several times daily.
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS
Respondsto any reasonabletask asassigned byExecutiveCommittee. Assistsinother departments as needed. Attendsmonthly departmentaland propertymeetings.
TOOLS/EQUIPMENT
Computer Skills. Assorted cleaning chemicals as outlined in MSDS manuals. LaundryEquipment. Telephone and radio. Carpet cleaning equipment
ENVIRONMENT
Interior of hotel with both hard and carpeted surfaces, occasional work on exterior of hotel. Good ventilation with artificial lighting.
