Overview We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor or an experienced housekeeper that is ready to take the next step to assist the Housekeeping Manager in the daily operations of our housekeeping team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive janitorial and hospitality experience, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction. This role is essential in ensuring that all guest or client spaces are spotless, well-organized, and efficiently managed. The Housekeeping Supervisor will play a key role in training staff and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Duties Assist the Housekeeping Manager in supervising and coordinating the activities of housekeeping staff across various departments or facilities. Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standards, including general cleaning and laundry Train new staff on proper cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations. Will assume the role of the Housekeeping Manager in the absence of the Housekeeping Manager Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper stock levels. Address guest or client concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction with housekeeping services. Conduct inspections to verify cleanliness and quality control throughout the premises. Collaborate with management to implement improvements in cleaning procedures and service delivery. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within hospitality or commercial settings. Supervising experience with a strong understanding of housekeeping management principles. Knowledge of laundry operations and commercial cleaning techniques. Leadership skills to motivate and guide a team effectively. Excellent organizational skills for managing schedules, inventories, and quality control processes. Strong communication abilities for training staff and interacting with guests or clients. Ability to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with hotel or hospitality industry standards is highly preferred .
