The Tru by Hilton Garland/Richardson is looking for an all-star Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping team! In this role, you will champion the cleanliness and sanitation efforts that create welcoming, pristine environments for our guests. This vital position combines team leadership, operational oversight, and a genuine passion for high standards. As the driving force behind our housekeeping operations, you will ensure every guest experiences comfort, quality, and warmth in a safe, efficient, and professional setting.

Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Operations:

Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping and laundry activities across all hotel spaces to maintain consistent Hilton brand and cleanliness standards.

Staff Development:

Manage, mentor, and train housekeeping team members, fostering a supportive, high-energy environment focused on exceptional service.

Schedules & Protocols:

Develop and implement effective daily cleaning schedules, standard operating procedures, and safety protocols aligned with sanitation regulations.

Quality Assurance:

Conduct rigorous, regular inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, laundry facilities, and back-of-house areas to ensure prompt turnover and flawless execution.

Inventory & Resource Management:

Oversee inventory levels for cleaning supplies, linens, laundry chemical systems, and equipment to ensure optimal stock without waste.

Safety & Compliance:

Enforce safety regulations regarding commercial chemical handling, industrial cleaning tools, and janitorial practices.

Cross-Department Collaboration:

Partner closely with Front Desk and Maintenance teams to resolve room status updates, guest requests, and service issues swiftly.

Qualifications & Requirements Experience:

Proven supervisory or management experience in hotel housekeeping, commercial cleaning, or custodial operations within hospitality.

Hilton Experience:

Prior experience with Hilton brand standards, PEP, or hotel management systems is a major plus.

Leadership & Communication:

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire a diverse team and communicate clearly across departments.

Technical Knowledge:

Deep understanding of commercial laundry operations, chemical safety, fabric care, and sanitation standards.

Organization:

Exceptional organizational skills to balance daily room boards, supply tracking, and labor schedules.
