Full Job Description Housekeeping Manager Duties:

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure a clean and safe environment
• Train and supervise housekeeping staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards are met
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and order as needed
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient guest services
• Handle guest requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and practices
• Experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a hotel setting
• Proficiency in floor care, including carpet cleaning
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with staff, guests, and management
• Experience in custodial work and general housekeeping tasks
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
