Job Description

Full Time
  • Five evenings weekly 3 p
  • 11:30 p to include rotating weekends. Weekend shifts will be days 7 a
  • 3:30 p The Environmental Services Supervisor maintains a high quality standard in housekeeping services by training, supervising and motivating the staff to insure all schedules are completed.

REQUIRED
Minimum of one (1) year of previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor Previous work experience in the following areas: facility floor plan and storage areas, 7-Step cleaning procedures, floor cleaning procedures, battery operated equipment cleaning procedures, spray buffing, carpet shampooing, wall washing, commercial vacuum operations, chemical use and dilution rates. Must possess reading and writing skills and comprehend and communicate in English Education/training

High School Diploma or equivalent Independent action(s) required: Supervises the daily operations and employees in assigned work unit. Job duties may include the handling, transportation, access to and/or contact with medications and related supplies Supervisory responsibilities (if applicable): Prioritizes workload/assignments. Instructs and trains employees. Completes employee performance evaluations. Serves as liaison with departments to follow up on services. Addresses employee performance issues (e.g. tardiness, absenteeism, etc.).
Additional position requirements:
Additional work hours and shifts maybe required based on staffing and departmental needs. Will be required to work some holidays and weekends as determined by supervisor/scheduling requirements.
