This role supervises housekeeping staff, maintains quality through inspections, manages inventory, and helps create an exceptional guest experience.
What You'll DoLead, coach, and supervise the housekeeping teamTrain team members on cleaning procedures, safety standards, and company policiesInspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure quality and brand standards are metAssign daily work schedules and distribute room assignments and keysRespond promptly and professionally to guest housekeeping concernsPartner with the General Manager in recruiting, interviewing, and developing housekeeping team membersMonitor productivity and ensure efficient housekeeping operationsMaintain inventories of linens, cleaning supplies, and guest amenitiesReport maintenance issues and follow up to ensure timely completionPerform room inspections, deep cleans, and housekeeping duties as neededManage lost and found proceduresSupport other hotel departments as neededPerform other duties as assignedWhat We're Looking ForPrevious housekeeping leadership experience preferred (6 months to 1+ year)Hotel housekeeping experience strongly preferredMust have flexible, open availability and be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to motivate, coach, and lead a teamExcellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentComfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shiftHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredSupervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position supervises a housekeeping team of approximately 115 employees and is responsible for ensuring daily performance meets company and guest service expectations.
