Under the direction of the Facilities Manager, the Day Porter assists the team with daily work order tasks. The work location is a congregation for Reform Judaism. We are looking for someone who takes direction well and is able to work in religious community to support the community's needs in a respectful and curious manner.

Duties and tasks include:

Set up/take downs for events, cleans and disinfects the common areas, including bathrooms, classrooms, kitchens. Help with event tasks including setting up sound system, setting up lunch areas, putting food out and away after events. Also supports the custodial staff to keep the campus pristine clean, addresses any cleaning issues that must be taken care of during their shift, including handling emergencies and special request cleaning.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Painting Clean and disinfect all contact points in assigned area. Follow COVID19 protocols for cleaning. Cleaning and restocking restrooms Breaking down boxes received during the day. Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them. Clean windows and mirrors Remove waste and empty trash. Replenish cleaning and maintenance supplies. Indoor room set-up and outdoor event set-up/ tear down. Qualifications (knowledge, skills, abilities): 1+ years of janitorial, facilities, or related experience Ability to communicate with property staff and team members in a clear, professional manner. Ability to adhere to company safety protocols.

Conversational English Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift, pull, push up to 50 pounds. Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, standing, and twisting and walking for long periods of time.

Other Requirements:

Must be able to pass federal background check. Valid Driver license

Pay:

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
