In this role, you will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning and preparing newly completed construction sites to ensure they meet the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and sanitation. Your energetic approach will help transform construction zones into pristine environments ready for occupancy, contributing to a safe and welcoming space for clients and occupants alike. Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning of construction sites, including dust removal, debris clearance, and surface sanitation. Use specialized cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, floor buffers, and vacuum systems to achieve optimal results. Clean windows, glass surfaces, and fixtures to ensure clarity and shine. Handle hazardous materials safely by following proper chemical handling procedures and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Conduct heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture, equipment, or construction materials safely and efficiently. Apply infection control protocols and sanitation standards to prevent contamination and ensure health safety. Perform routine janitorial tasks including trash disposal, floor care (mopping, sweeping), laundry services for cleaning cloths or uniforms, and maintaining cleanliness of all tools and supplies. Skills Proven experience in commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services with a focus on post-construction environments. Skilled in window cleaning, pressure washing, floor care techniques, and sanitation procedures. Ability to handle cleaning chemicals responsibly while adhering to safety guidelines. Strong manual handling skills with the capacity for heavy lifting and physical endurance. Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients or site managers when needed. Knowledge of cleaning equipment operation, including vacuums, buffers, pressure washers, and other machinery. Pay:
$21.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 30.0 per week

- Physical Demands Advisement & Acknowledgment The Cleaning Specialist position is physically demanding and requires the routine performance of tasks including, but not limited to: Extended periods of standing, walking, and physical exertion.
Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, and reaching overhead or low to the ground. Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling equipment, trash, and cleaning supplies weighing up to 50 lbs.
