Hallcon provides essential services spanning multi-modal operations, integrated command centers, electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure, technology integration, analytics, business intelligence, fleet management, specialty cleaning, and overall rider experience performance. Role Overview Hallcon is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Bus Washer to support our fleet operations in the San Francisco area. This role is responsible for washing buses and maintaining the cleanliness of the building's common areas, restrooms, office doors, and other designated areas. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining a clean and well-presented fleet, follows all safety procedures, and works efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Shift Monday - Friday 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM Key Responsibilities Wash and clean buses, ensuring the fleet is maintained in a clean and presentable condition. Operate a walk-behind commercial bus washing system to clean the exterior of buses. Clean and sanitize building common areas, restrooms, office doors, and other designated areas. Conduct basic visual inspections and report any vehicle damage or maintenance concerns. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the bus wash facility. Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and perform other routine cleaning duties as assigned. Maintain a professional and safety-conscious approach while working around buses, employees, and the public. Communicate effectively with dispatch, operations, and maintenance teams as needed. Perform duties in a safe, efficient, and professional manner while protecting company assets. Assist with special cleaning projects and other related duties as needed. Work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment while meeting established cleaning standards. Maintain adequate supplies and notify the appropriate person when cleaning supplies need to be replenished. Inspect assigned areas and report maintenance, safety, or cleanliness issues promptly. Safely operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning products according to established procedures Qualifications Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to climb in and out of commercial buses multiple times throughout the shift. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to perform repetitive movements, including operating bus wash equipment. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally.
