Job Overview SMG is looking for a Part-time, experienced custodian. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, safety, and overall facility appearance. Your proactive approach will ensure our clients' spaces are pristine, well-organized, and compliant with safety standards.

General Custodian Duties include:

Sweep, mop, clean counters, stove, and wipe down walls in kitchen areas. Dry, mop, spot clean floors, covering emergencies clean up at campus wide. Pull/push janitor cart with all cleaning supplies up to 30 pounds. Handle chemical agents safely, adhering to all chemical handling safety procedures and protocols Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling tasks following safe lifting practices to move furniture, supplies, or equipment Care floors may include: buffing, burnishing, stripping, and waxing. Carpet Shampoo, extraction, bonnet on carpets. High and low dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment. Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors when required and instructed. Move furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks. Tasks may be modified based on building & client needs. Not limited to additional supervisor's instructions or client's requests. Handle chemical agents safely, adhering to all chemical handling safety procedures and protocols Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling tasks following safe lifting practices to move furniture, supplies, or equipment Requirements Able to lift/carry/push or pull items up to 50 pounds. Able to work with backpack vacuums. Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial, industrial, or residential settings. Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and safety protocols. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety Join us in creating clean, safe spaces that leave lasting impressions! $21.10 per hour
