Job Description
Disassemble, clean, sanitize, inspect, and reassemble manufacturing equipment including transfer pumps, filling equipment, piping, hoses, valves, and processing accessories.
- Perform manual and Clean-in-Place (CIP) cleaning procedures according to SOPs.
- Verify all product residue has been removed prior to equipment release.
- Complete cleaning logs and GMP documentation accurately.
- Operate pressure washers, foamers, steam cleaners, and other sanitation equipment
- Use forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment when required
- Maintain an organized, clean, and inspection-ready production environment.
- Follow all GMP, FDA, OSHA, and company safety requirements.
- Support preventive maintenance activities as needed. Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to disassemble and reassemble equipment preferred
- Experience in manufacturing, food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, or industrial sanitation preferred.
- Ability to read and follow SOPs and cleaning instructions.
- Forklift experience is a plus (training available).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable attendance and positive work ethic. Lift up to 75 pounds.
- Stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work in wet environments throughout the shift.
- Comfortable using hand tools and working around industrial processing equipment.
- Must be able to wear required PPE, including gloves
