Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors Handle cleaning tasks across different surfaces Operate janitorial equipment Safely handle chemical agents used in cleaning processes, adhering to environmental safety standards and proper handling procedures. Conduct manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of equipment or supplies to ensure efficient workflow without injury. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, offices, and common areas by performing dusting, mopping, trash removal, and surface disinfection. Follow health and safety protocols diligently while performing all cleaning activities to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. Skills Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services with knowledge of environmental services best practices. Expertise in floor care techniques such as floor buffing, waxing, refinishing, and carpet cleaning. Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Familiarity with handling floor cleaning chemicals and chemical agents responsibly. Strong manual handling skills including heavy lifting and physical stamina for extended periods of work. Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with clients or building occupants when needed.
