Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks to ensure all areas are hygienic, organized, and well-maintained. Your efforts will contribute directly to the comfort and safety of our staff, visitors, and clients. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all designated areas. Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, and applying appropriate cleaning solutions to ensure a pristine appearance. Conduct industrial cleaning procedures in large or specialized spaces using appropriate equipment and safety protocols. Handle custodial duties such as restocking supplies, sanitizing restrooms, and ensuring all common areas are hygienic and presentable. Assist with light maintenance tasks including minor repairs and painting to support overall facilities upkeep. Follow safety guidelines and use proper personal protective equipment during all cleaning activities. Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning standards are met efficiently and effectively. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is preferred. Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing is highly desirable. Experience with industrial cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers or pressure washers is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential.
