26-01523 Progress on your journey to success! ECLARO is currently recruiting for an EVS Aide in the Oak Park, IL area for one of our clients. Position Overview:

Responsible for daily cleaning and sanitizing of patient rooms and all other corresponding unit areas. Will follow prescribed departmental cleaning standards in conjunction with infection control and safety procedures.

Responsibilities:

Sweeps, dust mops, and wet mops. Vacuums, spot cleans walls, cleans glass / ledges. Sanitizes patient room surfaces, sanitizes bathrooms. Performs discharge cleaning of patient rooms. Cleans equipment and notifies the supervisor or lead person of equipment requiring repair. Reports safety hazards to supervisor or lead person. Collects trash from patient rooms, nurses' stations, ancillary areas. Pulls trash outside around the grounds of the facility. Cleans and sanitizes ancillary areas. Assists in cleaning of emergency spills observed or reported. Performs any other tasks which may be assigned by the supervisor or lead person.

Qualifications:

Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions. Good communication skills. Capable of operating cleaning equipment such as vacuums, housekeeping carts, etc. 3 months - 1 year of environmental services experience in a hospital. High School Diploma or equivalent GED (preferred). Follow oral and written instructions.

Shift:

N ight 5x8-Hour (23:00 - 07:30 AM);

Duration:

18 weeks
