Job Title:
Janitor- Part-time6
Salary:
$21.03/hr SUMMARY The janitor will primarily keep the building clean and tidy through daily sanitization and monthly or quarterly deep cleanings. A janitor maintains the building for the safety and comfort of employees, clients, and guests.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following: Daily Tasks Clean and mop bathrooms, refill bathroom supplies Collect and take out trash from all offices Clean the staff lounge/kitchen Sweep and mop all conference rooms Disinfect Weekly o Vacuum all offices (2x/week) Disinfect offices (2x/week) Check the staff lounge refrigerator and throw out what appears spoiled (on Thursdays) Check the city's trash cans to see if they need to be picked up sooner than the scheduled pickup day (scheduled pickup is on Mondays). Clear dust from windows and air vents throughout the facility Clean windows and glass doors throughout the facility Sweep and mop all floors (at least 2x/week) Every 2 Weeks Clean and disinfect chairs in the recording studios Check and replace blown lights and damaged ceiling tiles Must be punctual and have strong attendance in the workplace. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfy each essential duty. EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
Experience in janitor work is preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Bilingual/fluent in English and Spanish preferred.
EQUIPMENT SKILLS
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Must have a valid driver's license Must have car insurance
