This role is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe healthcare environment through cleaning, disinfecting, and supporting daily operations throughout the facility.
What you will do:
Assesses departmental activities and requirements by making rounds. Distributes work assignments by prioritizing work to maximize patient throughput. Investigates and documents intradepartmental problems. Completes audits and ATP testing of cleaned rooms/areas. Performs Environmental Services Representative and Waste Processor-Transporter responsibilities. Initiates or delegates completion of incident reports for shift. Directs staff according to Hospital and departmental policies during fire and disaster alerts. Assists with training, coaching and disciplinary actions. Coordinates Hospital recycling program if applicable. Schedules pick-up of paper and cardboard. Assists with coordination of interior furnishings and finishes. Inspects cleaning equipment and storage in equipment rooms for cleanliness. Maintains hospital central furniture storage. Assists with maintaining Hospital central file storage. Assures dumpster area and regulated waste trailer is clean and free of debris. Assist with employee evaluations. Wears appropriate PPE and follows IP protocols. Uses AIDET and

on patient floors.
