Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitorial Worker to maintain cleanliness and safety for Boston Elementary . The hours of this position are from 1pm-9:30pm Monday through Friday. In this vital role, you will ensure that all areas are kept pristine, sanitized, and well-maintained to promote a healthy environment for staff, visitors, and clients. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute significantly to the overall appearance and hygiene standards of our organization. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, dust mopping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal across various areas of the facility Use appropriate chemical agents safely for sanitation and stain removal, adhering strictly to chemical handling safety procedures Maintain high standards of sanitation in restrooms, classrooms, and common areas by disinfecting surfaces and fixtures regularly Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is highly preferred Familiarity with cleaning procedures for residential or industrial environments is advantageous Experience handling cleaning chemicals safely and knowledge of chemical agent safety procedures is essential Demonstrated ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and industrial vacuums effectively Customer service skills are a plus, especially when interacting with staff or visitors regarding cleanliness standards Join us in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment! Pay:

$14.50 - $17.50 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
