Job Description
Position Overview:
Lenox Public Schools is seeking a temporary custodian to support the custodial and maintenance needs of Lenox Memorial Middle & High School. This is a temporary position expected to last approximately 4-8 weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine custodial and cleaning duties throughout the school building.
Operate and maintain custodial and cleaning equipment.
Assist with basic building and maintenance tasks as needed.
Move furniture, supplies, equipment, and other materials.
Perform other related custodial and maintenance duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Some mechanical knowledge and general familiarity with basic building or maintenance tasks.
Willingness and ability to learn the proper use of custodial and cleaning equipment.
HOURS:
Approximately 30-40 hours per week, scheduled between 5:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
DURATION
This is a temporary position, beginning as soon as possible and expected to continue for approximately 4-8 weeks.
BENEFITS
Benefits are available for this position.
COMPENSATION
Per Contract $19.55 - $30.79 per hour.
