Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces including offices, hallways, restrooms, and common areas during evening shifts. Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and sanitation tools to ensure optimal performance. Handle chemical agents safely following established safety protocols for sanitation and cleaning procedures. Maintain high standards of cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, dusting, disinfecting surfaces, and trash removal. Follow all safety protocols related to chemical handling, equipment use, and facility maintenance to ensure a secure work environment. Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly to supervisors for quick resolution. Requirements Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work with knowledge of janitorial procedures. Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, safety handling procedures, and sanitation standards. Ability to perform manual tasks involving heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality cleanliness standards. Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled hours. Customer service mindset with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Prior experience with floor care techniques such as buffing and using floor buffers is preferred.
