Please call Marvin to discuss opportunity at 443 857 7058 We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Cleaning Person to join our team (Weekend Friday afternoon and/or Saturday morning position 8-12 hours) every other weekend and potentially every weekend, also as a back up if one of the other employees are off for any reason. Must be able to pass minimum background check to access Kittery Maine Naval base.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of sleeping quarters in student's barracks (bedrooms with bathrooms only), every other or every weekend between Friday afternoon and Saturday morning (8-12) hours per every other weekend). Your primary duties will include cleaning rooms and bathrooms, removing soiled linen, bagging fresh linen and placing on beds only (not making beds) and ensuring a clean and sanitary environment.

• Maintain cleanliness of of rooms by wiping, sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash bins
• Clean bathrooms
• Clean small refrigerator
• Dust
• Add detergent, bleach, or other cleaning agents as necessary
• Biannual floor shampooing with basic carpet cleaner
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
• Other cleaning related duties as necessary

Skills:

• Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning preferred
• Knowledge of basic floor care techniques and basic equipment operation
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and order
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
• Ability to work independently and/or with a co-worker with minimal supervision
• Good communication skills to interact with team members and management This is a paid position with competitive compensation.
