Job Summary We are looking for a reliable and proactive Morning Porter to join our facilities team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in the early hours of the day. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellent custodial and maintenance services to ensure our premises are always in top shape. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of common areas, restrooms, hallways, and entryways using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment. Handle janitorial tasks such as trash removal, floor deck brushing and mopping, and sanitation to uphold hygiene standards. Operate cleaning machinery and other custodial equipment safely and effectively. Assist with light maintenance duties like minor repairs or painting to support overall facilities upkeep. Follow safety protocols when handling chemical agents and performing manual handling tasks to prevent accidents. Ensure all cleaning supplies are stored properly and inventory levels are maintained. Support heavy lifting activities using proper techniques to avoid injury while moving furniture or equipment. Skills Prior experience in custodial work or janitorial services is highly desirable. Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and chemical handling safety procedures. Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and other custodial tools confidently. Strong understanding of safe lifting practices and manual handling techniques. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety and cleanliness. Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting maintenance issues. Ability to work early mornings consistently with a positive attitude. Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 35.0 per week
