Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas using floor buffers, mops, vacuums, and other cleaning equipment to uphold high sanitation standards. Handle chemical agents safely by following proper chemical handling safety procedures during cleaning and sanitation tasks. Use custodial tools such as scrubbers, buffers, and cleaning carts to maintain cleanliness across various surfaces and facilities. Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of supplies, furniture, or equipment while adhering to safe lifting practices to prevent injury. Support facilities maintenance activities including minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and general upkeep to ensure the environment remains functional and inviting. Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning operations to ensure a secure workplace for yourself and others. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any facility-related concerns promptly and professionally. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is preferred. Familiarity with cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and the use of cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers. Knowledge of chemical agent handling safety procedures and proper use of custodial tools. Experience with facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs or painting is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina for manual handling duties. Strong attention to safety protocol adherence combined with excellent organizational skills.
