Part-Time Janitorial Technician

•we are looking to fill this position as soon as possible Xplicit Technologies, LLC is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Janitorial Technician who is available to start immediately to provide recurring janitorial services at the Pintler Ranger District

•Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest in Philipsburg, Montana. This is a year-round federal contract position supporting the U.S. Forest Service. We are looking for someone who is reliable, self-motivated, able to work independently, and capable of maintaining a professional federal facility to established contract standards. Immediate availability is extremely important for this position. Selected candidates should be prepared to complete onboarding paperwork promptly so that services can begin as soon as possible. Work Location Pintler Ranger District 88 Business Loop Philipsburg, MT 59858-9779 The contract covers janitorial services for three federally owned facilities at this location: Pintler Ranger District Main Office Fire Bay Restroom 7-Bay/Weight Room Restroom The Main Office contains approximately 5,484 square feet of space requiring janitorial service . Work Schedule This position has a consistent evening schedule with seasonal frequency changes. June through September 3 evenings per week Approximately 4-5 hours per service visit Approximately 12-15 hours per week October through May 2 evenings per week Approximately 4-5 hours per service visit Approximately 8-10 hours per week Work is generally performed after normal business hours . Exact service days will be coordinated with Xplicit Technologies and the Government facility. Pay $17.00

•$20.00 per hour, depending on experience Paid biweekly Direct deposit Part-time, year-round position Primary Responsibilities The Janitorial Technician will be responsible for maintaining assigned areas to professional commercial janitorial standards. Restroom Cleaning Clean and disinfect toilets and urinals Clean sinks and faucets Clean mirrors Clean restroom partitions and stalls Clean grab bars and restroom fixtures Clean showers Clean exterior surfaces of lockers Empty sanitary receptacles Restock Government-furnished restroom supplies as needed Floor Care Vacuum carpeted areas Vacuum carpet edges and corners Vacuum walk-off mats Clean beneath accessible chairs, trash cans, and recycling containers Sweep and mop hard-surface flooring Clean and disinfect resilient and non-resilient floors Remove carpet spots and stains as needed Return moved items to their proper locations The Performance Work Statement requires regular carpet vacuuming throughout accessible areas and twice-annual deep carpet cleaning using a hot-water extraction method. Fixtures and High-Touch Surfaces Clean and disinfect assigned fixtures and surfaces, including: Door handles Push plates and push bars Light switches Drinking fountains Cabinets Countertops Cubicle partitions Display cases Handrails Locking hardware Mirrors Sinks and faucets Restroom fixtures Other high-touch surfaces The SOW requires these areas to be maintained at a high level of sanitation and cleanliness. Trash and Waste Removal Empty garbage cans Empty recycling containers as required Replace soiled or damaged liners Empty sanitary receptacles Transport collected waste to the exterior dumpster Keep waste containers clean and odor-free The contract requires garbage and sanitary receptacles to be emptied during service and waste transported to the exterior dumpster. Break Room and Appliance Cleaning Clean and disinfect counters and sinks Clean exterior surfaces of refrigerators Clean exterior surfaces of microwaves Clean coffee makers and other assigned appliances Maintain break-room surfaces in a clean and sanitary condition Walls, Doors, and Building Features Remove visible fingerprints and smudges Remove dust and cobwebs Clean baseboards Clean ledges Clean vents Clean doors and door hardware Clean wall-mounted features as required Maintain thresholds and sills Stairway and Elevator Cleaning Clean stairs Clean handrails Clean risers and landings Clean elevator walls Clean elevator buttons Clean elevator flooring Clean elevator tracks The SOW specifically requires routine cleaning of stairways and the elevator surfaces, button panels, flooring, and tracks. Periodic Cleaning Responsibilities The position will also support scheduled periodic cleaning services. Carpet Deep Cleaning Hot-water extraction is required twice annually : March November Window Cleaning Interior and exterior windows are cleaned twice annually : April October Window cleaning includes applicable glass, frames, sills, blinds, screens, and related components. End-of-Shift Responsibilities At the end of each service visit, the Janitorial Technician will be expected to: Review completed work Complete the required site inspection checklist Report deficiencies, damage, unusual conditions, or supply needs Ensure work areas are left clean and orderly Secure the facility as required Follow all building access and security procedures The contract requires a site-specific inspection checklist for each day services are performed, and inspections are to be completed at the end of each work shift. Qualifications Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or commercial cleaning experience preferred Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail Dependable and consistent attendance Good communication skills Ability to follow written procedures and cleaning checklists Experience using commercial janitorial equipment preferred Carpet extraction experience is a plus Reliable transportation required Must be comfortable working independently during evening hours The contract requires personnel assigned to the facility to be capable and experienced in janitorial work. Federal Facility Requirements Because this position supports a federal Government facility, candidates must be willing and able to comply with applicable federal facility requirements.

Complete required onboarding documentation Complete required background/security screening Follow all building access and security procedures Maintain confidentiality regarding federal facilities and personnel Follow Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements Properly use required personal protective equipment Follow approved cleaning-product and chemical-handling procedures Respect Government property and work areas Follow directions provided by Xplicit Technologies management and authorized Government representatives The contract requires employee roster and background information and provides for Government background investigations of personnel working at the site.
