We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Commercial Cleaner to join our dynamic cleaning team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of commercial spaces, ensuring a welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of commercial areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies Conduct specialized floor care tasks such as scrubbing, buffing, waxing, polishing, and refinishing floors to maintain their appearance and durability Handle chemical agents safely while performing cleaning tasks, ensuring proper dilution and application of floor cleaning chemicals and other cleaning agents Operate various cleaning equipment including floor scrubbers, buffers, vacuums, carpet cleaners, and floor polishers with precision and care Carry out manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture, equipment, or supplies in accordance with safety guidelines Maintain cleanliness standards by regularly inspecting areas for cleanliness and addressing any issues promptly Follow environmental services protocols by using eco-friendly products when possible and disposing of waste responsibly Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in a commercial setting with knowledge of general cleaning procedures Skilled in floor scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and floor refinishing techniques to ensure high-quality results Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely while adhering to health and safety regulations Experience operating cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, carpet cleaners, and other janitorial tools Physical stamina for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking throughout shifts Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude towards clients and team members Knowledge of environmental services practices to promote sustainable cleaning methods Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards Join us in creating pristine environments that promote safety, professionalism, and excellence!
