Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated school janitor to work on a dynamic school team to assist in maintaining cleanliness and safety within our school. The ideal candidate does not need experience with cleaning, but must have a desire to learn about custodial services, with the ability to ensure a clean and welcoming school environment. Responsibilities Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to maintain cleanliness standards. Conduct specialized floor care such as buffing, stripping, and polishing to preserve flooring quality. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, hallways, offices, and other designated areas. Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained. Support other team members with custodial duties as required for smooth facility operations. Requirements Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
