Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface wiping to ensure cleanliness and hygiene. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures according to health standards, including the use of appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment. Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items with care. Maintain floor care by performing sweeping, scrubbing, polishing, and carpet cleaning to keep floors safe and visually appealing. Manage outdoor work responsibilities such as trash removal, outdoor surface cleaning, and maintaining exterior cleanliness. Use manual handling techniques to lift heavy objects safely during furniture moving or equipment setup. Communicate effectively with clients or residents regarding cleaning schedules or special requests while providing excellent customer service. Skills Proven experience in cleaning services, janitorial work, or residential housekeeping with knowledge of cleaning surfaces and equipment. Familiarity with cleaning detergents, floor care products, and sanitation practices to ensure effective hygiene standards. Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and complete assignments promptly. Ability to perform outdoor work comfortably in various weather conditions while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Experience with carpet cleaning methods and outdoor surface maintenance is a plus. Effective client communication skills to understand needs and deliver exceptional service consistently.
