Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, including commercial and residential spaces. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Cleaner will play a vital role in ensuring that facilities are safe, clean, and welcoming for all occupants. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas. Carry out commercial cleaning duties in offices, retail spaces, and other facilities. Assist with residential painting projects as needed. Conduct facilities maintenance tasks to ensure all areas are well-maintained. Act as a porter by managing waste disposal and ensuring common areas are tidy. Maintain cleanliness in restrooms and break rooms, restocking supplies when necessary. Execute industrial cleaning procedures for specialized equipment or areas. Perform floor care activities including buffing and polishing surfaces to maintain appearance. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Qualifications Previous experience in custodial or cleaning roles is preferred but not required. Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus. Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is advantageous. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
