Cleveland, Ohio Temporary opportunity with potential to transition to a Warehouse Associate position Forklift experience required Weekly Pay with direct deposit or pay card When you work through The Reserves Network, you are eligible to enroll in dental, vision and medical insurance as well as 401K, direct deposit and our referral bonus program Job Description The Building Custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall condition of the warehouse facility. This position will follow daily, weekly, and monthly sanitation schedules while supporting general warehouse operations as needed. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, comfortable working in a warehouse environment, and has forklift experience. This position may be temporary based on the return of an employee who is currently out on injury. If that employee returns, there may be an opportunity to transition the successful candidate into a Warehouse Associate position on the warehouse floor.
Responsibilities:
Empty trash cans throughout the warehouse Place refuse into dumpsters Operate the riding floor sweeper to sweep the warehouse Sweep between pallet locations, including floors and racks Assist with cleanup of damaged product Mop and clean up liquid spills throughout the warehouse Sweep debris from the ground outside dock doors Perform snow removal and salt employee and main facility entrances Perform product audits for the Warehouse Supervisor Operate a forklift safely as needed
Qualifications and Requirements:
Forklift experience required Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely and consistently Ability to work in hot and cold environments A bility to comply with OSHA and SDS standards 1-2 years of janitorial experience preferred 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred
