The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented, flexible and willing to take on non-routine cleaning and special projects as the need arises. The Janitor will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, and public areas at stadiums. This is a seasonal position, with the possibility of placement in a more permanent role.

Compensation:

The pay for this position is $17/hr. This represents the pay that Hospitality Staffing Solutions reasonably and in good faith believes it will pay for this role at the time of posting.

Requirements:

Must have the legal authorization to work in the United States Must be able to work weekends and holidays Must be able to work overnight shifts. Must have reliable transportation. Janitorial experience preferred but not required. Willing to work on weekends and holidays. Willing to do heavy lifting.

Responsibilities:

Performs light cleaning duties to maintain establishments, including, restaurants, public areas, bathrooms, in a clean and orderly manner. cleaning vip rooms and halls, and vacuuming. Provides quality customer service to customers by providing one-on-one attention to detail. Sweeps, scrubs, mops and polishes floors. Vacuums carpets, rugs and draperies. Shampoos carpets, rugs and upholstery. Dusts and polishes furniture and fittings. Cleans metal fixtures and fittings. Empties and cleans trash containers. Disposes of trash in a sanitary manner. Cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers. Wipes down glass surfaces. Makes up beds and changes linens as required. Realigns furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout. Responds to guest queries and requests. Responds to calls for housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glasses. Contributes to team efforts; exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow associates and others.
