We are seeking an experienced, dedicated, and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our production facility, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with a focus on an industrial setting. Responsibilities Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors. Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas. Proactively identify and resolve cleanliness issues, never walking past an issue. Follow daily, weekly, and monthly checklists, ensuring all areas are kept clean in a safe and timely manner. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing to ensure surfaces are well-maintained. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, ensuring all areas are safe and functional. Manage waste disposal efforts efficiently. Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies to maintain a clean environment. Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify areas needing attention or repairs. Skills Experience in industrial cleaning or commercial cleaning environments is required. Knowledge of custodial practices and procedures is essential for maintaining high cleanliness standards. Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment, including buffing machines. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain cleanliness in various settings. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
