JOB SUMMARY

\nResponsible for the cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and security of assigned work areas. Work may be at assigned building(s) or on assigned specialty crews as directed.\n

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Knowledge of:

cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.\n

Skilled:

in cleaning, use of cleaning equipment and materials; use of district email and software systems.\nAbility to: complete minor maintenance tasks; monitor inventory and coordinate with the physical plant department to assure adequate stocks of related supplies; follow oral and written instructions; perform physical tasks including lifting of heavy objects; and work with minimum supervision. Flexible and willing to do a variety of jobs to meet deadlines and complete all required training. Ability to communicate with Spanish speaking students and adults preferred.\n

Experience:

Must have a minimum of two years custodial experience.\n

Skills Desired:

Knowledge of cleaning chemical safety and use, experience with floor finishing and waxing.

Education:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).\n

Certification Required:

Medic First Aid Card.\n
