Role:

Looking for a steady morning schedule in a supportive environment? We are seeking a reliable Restaurant Custodian and Maintenance Team Member to join our team in Lower Burrell. This role is focused on daily cleaning, equipment upkeep, and keeping our restaurant operating safely and efficiently. Unlike large-scale commercial or industrial facility roles, this position centers around essential restaurant sanitation, daily kitchen equipment care, and facility upkeep .

Schedule & Hours Hours:

~6:00 AM to 2:00 PM daily (Enjoy having your late afternoons and evenings free)

What You'll Be Doing Equipment Care & Cleaning:

Filter and change oil in fry vats daily, clean grills, and sanitize specialized equipment (including ice cream and shake machines).

Sanitation & Facility Upkeep:

Maintain daily cleanliness of restrooms, lobby, stockrooms, inside/outside windows, and exterior parking areas/grounds.

Deliveries & Stocking:

Assist in unloading delivery trucks (a couple of times per week) and organizing stockrooms/supplies.

Basic Repairs & Maintenance:

Perform basic preventive upkeep on holding cabinets, steamers, toasters, and coolers. Clean HVAC exhaust units and clear roof debris. Coordinate with outside contractors for major technical repairs.

Waste Management:

Safely operate and maintain trash areas.

Qualifications Experience:

Previous restaurant or fast-food maintenance/custodial experience preferred.

Work Style:

Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working early mornings.

Physical Capability:

Ability to lift delivery boxes, work on your feet, and handle routine daily cleaning tasks.
