In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our commercial and residential properties. Your proactive approach to cleaning, sanitation, and custodial tasks will ensure our facilities meet the highest standards of hygiene and safety. This position offers an opportunity to contribute directly to the well-being of our staff, clients, and visitors through diligent cleaning practices and adherence to safety protocols. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and disinfecting surfaces across multiple facility areas Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners to maintain pristine floors and surfaces Handle chemical agents safely while performing sanitation duties, following all chemical handling safety procedures Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of supplies, furniture, or equipment in accordance with safe lifting practices Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, hallways, offices, and common areas with attention to detail Follow safety protocols during all custodial activities to prevent accidents or injuries Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues for resolution Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and custodial equipment operation Ability to handle chemical agents safely and follow chemical handling safety procedures Experience with floor care including buffing, stripping, waxing, and using floor buffers Physical capability for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks while maintaining safe lifting practices Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills Good communication skills with a customer service-oriented mindset Join us in creating clean, safe environments that foster productivity and comfort!
