Business Title:

Janitor Job Purpose:

Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of company land and buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning and maintaining all areas of the building, including offices, restrooms, common areas, and exterior grounds. Performing routine tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and emptying trash receptacles. Restocking supplies in restrooms and common areas. Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and fixtures. Maintaining the cleanliness of windows and other glass surfaces. Performing minor maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs and unclogging drains. Monitoring building security and safety by locking doors and reporting any suspicious activity. Moving furniture and equipment as needed. Maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of storage areas. Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Experience:

Proven experience in commercial cleaning Experience in operating cleaning equipment (e.g., vacuum cleaners, floor buffers)

Required Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of cleaning procedures and techniques Ability to lift and carry heavy objects Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail Good communication skills Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures Physical stamina and endurance Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
