This is a long-term opportunity for someone who takes pride in keeping a property clean, attractive, and well maintained throughout the year. The ideal candidate has experience with both property maintenance and landscaping and is knowledgeable about the care of ornamental plants, shrubs, flowers, trees, and irrigation systems. Property Commercial office building in West Lake Approximately 8 acres Schedule Approximately 20 hours per week (80 hours per month) Flexible scheduling Workdays may vary depending on weather, seasonal needs, and mutual availability Consistent monthly hours and completion of required tasks are more important than maintaining a fixed schedule Long-term position Lawn & Landscape Responsibilities Mow and edge lawns Trim sidewalks, curbs, driveways, and landscaped areas Pull and/or spray weeds Trim bushes, shrubs, hedges, and ornamental plants Prune and maintain trees and shrubs Plant seasonal flowers and landscape enhancements Refresh mulch annually Fertilize lawns, trees, shrubs, and plants as needed Water newly installed landscaping when necessary Perform routine irrigation system inspections Remove grass clippings, leaves, weeds, and other landscape debris Maintain the overall appearance and health of the property's landscaping Property Maintenance Responsibilities Clean gutters Pressure wash sidewalks, patios, and other exterior surfaces as needed Storm cleanup and debris removal Pick up fallen branches and leaves Seasonal leaf cleanup Perform minor fence and gate repairs Replace landscape lighting bulbs Identify maintenance issues before they become costly repairs Perform other light exterior maintenance tasks as needed Requirements Previous landscaping, groundskeeping, property maintenance, or horticultural experience preferred Experience caring for flowers, ornamental plants, shrubs, and trees Ability to safely operate lawn maintenance equipment and basic hand tools Reliable transportation Ability to communicate effectively in English regarding scheduling, maintenance needs, and project requirements Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Dependable, detail-oriented, and proactive Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
