Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment across our facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks to ensure all areas are spotless, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across multiple areas of the facility. Handle cleaning chemicals and agents safely, following all chemical handling safety procedures to prevent accidents or health hazards. Operate cleaning equipment such as brooms, mops, vacuums, and other custodial tools to maintain floors and surfaces in pristine condition. Conduct detailed sanitation of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to meet health standards. Assist with light maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, minor repairs, or painting when necessary. Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting or manual handling tasks to prevent injuries while moving furniture or equipment. Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages promptly. Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings preferred. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care , and proper use of cleaning equipment. Ability to handle chemical agents safely with adherence to safety protocol guidelines. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks regularly while practicing safe lifting techniques. Strong attention to detail with a focus on sanitation standards and cleanliness. Excellent time management skills to complete daily tasks efficiently within scheduled hours. Good communication skills with a customer service-oriented attitude when interacting with staff or visitors. Pay:
