Duties Prepare and assemble a variety of deli foods, including sandwiches, salads, and cold cuts, following established recipes and safety standards Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently Engage with customers by taking orders, answering questions about products, and upselling items to enhance their shopping experience Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace by regularly cleaning counters, equipment, and food preparation areas in compliance with food safety regulations Handle cash register operations, process cash and card payments, and accurately process cash transactions using POS systems Manage food handling procedures responsibly to ensure freshness, quality, and safety of all deli products Operate kitchen equipment safely for food preparation tasks while adhering to sanitation standards Qualifications Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety management practices Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude Ability to perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory checks Experience operating kitchen equipment safely and maintaining sanitation standards Retail sales experience including cashiering, upselling, and processing cash transactions is a plus Food handling certification or willingness to obtain required food safety training Join us in delivering fresh, quality products with outstanding service!
