Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Chef in mediterranean kabab and Shawarma to join our Mediterranean kabab restaurant. The Chef will be responsible for both back-of-house food preparation (including marinating meats, preparing sauces, and following authentic recipes) and front-of-house cooking (grilling kababs, preparing plates, and ensuring quality presentation). This is a hands-on role requiring efficiency, consistency, and passion for Mediterranean cuisine.
Responsibilities:
Prepare all recipes, marinades, sauces, salads, and accompaniments according to restaurant standards. Cook and grill kababs, meats, and other menu items with consistency in taste and presentation. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment at all times. Manage food inventory, ensure freshness, and minimize waste. Follow food safety and health regulations in line with state and local guidelines. Support smooth kitchen operations during high-volume service periods. Collaborate with staff to maintain excellent customer service and timely order delivery.
Schedule:
5 days a week 10 hours per day (full-time availability required) Monthly Salary $18-$22/hr
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a chef or cook, preferably in Mediterranean or kabab cuisine. Strong knowledge of grilling, marinating, and food preparation techniques. Ability to handle high-volume service with consistency and speed. Commitment to long shifts and maintaining high standards throughout the day. Team-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently.
