Full-time About the Role We are looking for a dependable, hardworking, and motivated Kitchen Assistant to join our growing team. This position plays an important role in supporting our kitchen operations by preparing ingredients, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and assisting the Prep Cook as needed. We're looking for someone who is eager to learn, works well in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in producing quality work. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and food items according to company recipes and standards. Assist the Prep Cook with daily food preparation and production. Wash, cut, portion, and package ingredients. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and prep area. Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as needed. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company procedures. Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries. Help with inventory organization and stock rotation. Perform general cleaning duties to keep the kitchen operating efficiently. Complete other kitchen-related tasks as assigned. Qualifications Previous kitchen or food preparation experience is preferred but not required. Willingness to learn and follow instructions. Responsible, dependable, and punctual. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Valid California Food Handler Card is required, or the ability to obtain one before starting employment. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus .
