Job Summary We're looking for a reliable and efficient Kitchen Cook to join our Dairy Queen team. This role is responsible for preparing high-quality hot food items quickly and consistently while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen. The ideal candidate works well under pressure, follows systems, and takes pride in delivering great food every time. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items (burgers, chicken, fries, etc.) according to Dairy Queen standards Operate grill, fryer, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Ensure all food is prepared quickly, accurately, and meets quality standards Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift Follow food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines at all times Restock kitchen inventory and notify management of low supplies Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure timely order completion Follow opening and closing kitchen procedures and checklists Requirements Previous kitchen or fast-food experience preferred (not required) Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Strong attention to detail and consistency Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays Preferred Qualities Team-oriented mindset Strong work ethic and sense of urgency Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to multitask without sacrificing quality Compensation & Benefits Hourly pay (based on experience) Flexible scheduling Opportunities for growth and advancement Performance Expectations Maintain speed and accuracy during peak hours Follow all recipes and portion controls strictly Keep kitchen cleanliness at a high standard at all times Communicate effectively with team members and management
