As an Expo in our fine dining establishment, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth communication between the kitchen and front-of-house staff, guaranteeing that every dish is prepared and delivered to our guests with precision and care. Key Responsibilities Coordinate the timely and accurate delivery of food orders from the kitchen to the dining room. Communicate effectively with chefs and servers to ensure all orders meet quality and presentation standards. Manage multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced fine dining environment. Inspect dishes before they leave the kitchen to ensure consistency and adherence to Greyhound Tavern's standards. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the expo station and surrounding areas. Support the front-of-house team by facilitating smooth service flow and addressing any order-related issues promptly. Required Skills and Qualifications Proven experience as an expediter (expo) in a fine dining restaurant setting. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. Team player with a positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. Familiarity with fine dining service standards and terminology.
