Duties Assist in food preparation and cooking. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring proper cleaning and sanitizing procedures are followed to maintain food safety standards. Follow recipes precisely to ensure consistency in meal quality and presentation across all menu items. Support menu planning efforts by preparing ingredients and assisting with special dietary requests or catering needs. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety sanitizing procedures at all times. Handle food with care, practicing proper food handling techniques to prevent cross-contamination and ensure freshness. Collaborate with team members to meet high-volume production demands while maintaining excellent service standards. Qualifications Previous experience in dietary aide roles or food service environments is highly desirable. Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Experience with food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures is essential. Knowledge of menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation for diverse dietary needs. Restaurant or food industry experience that demonstrates ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality standards. Pay:
$15.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 30.0 per week
