Job Description

Job Overview Expo / Food Expeditor Bucks Pub - Long Lake, MN Bucks Pub is looking for an experienced Expo / Food Expeditor to join our team. This is a key position responsible for keeping the kitchen and front of house working together and ensuring every plate leaves the kitchen correctly, efficiently, and looking its best. This position works Wednesday through Sunday from 4:30 PM-9:30 PM and reports directly to the Kitchen Manager .
Pay:
$20-$23/hour depending on experience plus tips
Schedule:
Wednesday-Sunday, 4:30 PM-9:30
PM Hours:
Approximately 25 hours per week Responsibilities Manage the expo line during dinner service and coordinate the flow of food from the kitchen to the dining room. Organize and prioritize tickets to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time. Communicate clearly with cooks, servers, bartenders, and support staff throughout service. Check every plate for accuracy, presentation, proper portions, garnishes, sauces, and modifications before it leaves the kitchen. Ensure all items for a table are properly coordinated and sent out together whenever possible. Monitor ticket times and communicate delays or problems immediately. Coordinate food runners and make sure food gets to the correct table quickly. Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked expo station. Assist with sauces, garnishes, condiments, and other finishing touches as needed. Understand the Bucks Pub menu, ingredients, modifications, and common allergy concerns. Help maintain a calm, organized kitchen-to-floor transition during busy services. Work closely with the Kitchen Manager to maintain Bucks Pub's standards for food quality, presentation, and speed of service. Assist with opening, closing, stocking, and cleaning responsibilities related to the expo station. Qualifications Prior hospitality or restaurant experience is required. Speak English & Spanish is preferred. Previous expo, food runner, line cook, server, or other high-volume restaurant experience preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to read tickets quickly and accurately. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple orders at once. Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency. Dependable and able to consistently work the scheduled Wednesday-Sunday evening shifts . Must work well with both BOH and FOH teams. We're looking for someone who understands that a great expo does more than run food—you control the flow between the kitchen and dining room and help make sure every guest receives the food Bucks Pub intended to serve.
Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 per week
