Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role involves preparing ingredients, cooking meals, and ensuring that all dishes are presented beautifully in a fast-paced kitchen environment. A love for food and catering is essential as we strive to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and storage areas. Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper food handling procedures are adhered to at all times. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies; assist with ordering as needed. Participate in catering events, providing high-quality food service in various settings. Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques to enhance menu offerings. Qualifications Proven experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook in a restaurant or catering environment. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety practices, and dietary requirements. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Familiarity with fine dining standards is preferred but not required.
