Duties Prepare and assemble meals according to established recipes and menu plans, ensuring consistency and quality. Assist with menu planning by suggesting creative ideas that align with dietary needs and preferences. Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and safety protocols. Support food preparation activities including chopping, cooking, plating, and portioning to meet meal schedules. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment to uphold hygiene standards. Serve meals efficiently Skills Proven experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide with knowledge of meal planning and food preparation. Strong culinary skills including knife techniques, cooking methods, and fine dining presentation. Experience in food service environments such as restaurants or catering operations. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices. Ability to work quickly and accurately in a busy kitchen setting while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
