Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and take their food orders accurately using POS systems such as Toast POS Prepare food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively to ensure timely food production. Manage customer transactions at the cash register, processing cash, card payments, and handling receipts with precision. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities through friendly suggestions. Maintain a clean workspace by regularly sanitizing surfaces, bussing tables, and following sanitation protocols. Assist in food handling, packaging, and serving orders promptly to ensure customer satisfaction. Support team members during busy periods by managing retail sales transactions and assisting with food service duties. Follow all food safety guidelines, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures. Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively and supporting colleagues in daily tasks. Experience Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn! Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Experience with food preparation, kitchen equipment operation, or culinary tasks will help you excel in this role. Strong time management skills are essential to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Prior customer service or cashiering experience is beneficial for delivering excellent guest interactions. Basic math skills are necessary for processing cash transactions accurately.
