This role involves supporting the daily operation of our cafe by preparing food, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and ensuring adherence to recipes and food safety standards. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking minimal kitchen experience to gain valuable skills in a friendly environment. The Kitchen Staff will work primarily on weekends, providing essential support during busy cafe hours. Responsibilities Operate kitchen equipment efficiently and safely to prepare cafe-style food items. Follow established recipes accurately to ensure consistent quality of all menu offerings. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including cleaning utensils, surfaces, and equipment regularly. Manage food safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations and standards. Assist with heat-and-serve food preparation as needed, supporting the overall flow of the kitchen during shifts. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations during weekend shifts. Qualifications Minimal prior kitchen work or experience required; training will be provided. Ability to operate basic kitchen equipment safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety standards. Reliable and punctual with weekend availability, specifically Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work well within a team environment.
